LA VIDA LOCA is a sound story about life, impossible love, celebrating nature and dance. The most beloved songs and Latino dances, especially adapted for these two artists by the composer Jorge Rojas, in a show full of colour, South-American lyricism and explosive virtuosity, held on 15th of April, in Bucharest, at Teatrelli stage, at creart headquarters (No.7, Lahovary Square), since 7 pm.
Alfredo Ovalles, a piano player from Venezuela, studied piano in Caracas, at Baylor University, in USA and at the University of Music and Performing Arts from Vienna. He enjoys an important international career on stages like Berliner Philharmonie, Wiener Konzerthaus, King’s Place from London or Teresa Carreño Theatre from Caracas, Venezuela. Beside various solo performances, he collaborates – among others – with “Frederic Chopin” Orchestra from Gdansk, Poland, with Minsk Belarusian Philharmonics Orchestra or the Symphonic Orchestra of the Dominican Republic. He won several international contests, such as Osaka International Music Competition or “Franz Schubert” Competition from Bulgaria. A constant developing artist, advocating new music, Alfredo Ovalles intensely works together with composers and artistic groups like Green Thing or Black Page Orchestra.
