Festival of Dramaturgy „RODICA POPESCU BITĂNESCU”

”What a great joy, what an accomplisment it is for me when I see that a whole theatre festival is bearing my name: Festival of Dramaturgy RODICA POPESCU BITĂNESCU”.

Between 1st November and 5th November they will play five comedy plays written and directed by me, where I also act: „Five women of transition”, „It’s still all right”, „Cemetery Life” , „Women Triangle femeilor”, „Money makes the mare to go”.

The Festival will be organised by the Comedy Theatre and it will take place on a stylish and elegant stage at Creart Teatrelli Hall, under the aegis of Bucharest City Hall.

About the success of my plays? They are simple and true, the relations between characters are like a Gordian Knot that each spectator strive to untie, an easy attempt as my plays speak about them, about love, jealousy, betrayal, honour and dignity.

You are invited to see my shows and I am grateful that you, the spectators, have validated me as a playwright. Thank you!”
