This year, between June 29 and July 1, we invite you to the 12th edition of the International Folklore Festival “Music and Traditions in Cismigiu” where we celebrate 12 years of cultural diversity. Concert artists and ensembles, minorities, national communities and ensembles from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Georgia, Israel, the Republic of Moldova and Hungary will be on the scene.
Moreover, the festival is open on Friday in the folk costume parade and includes a local crafts and products, creative workshops and children’s theater shows, a gourmet space, the reinterpreted folkloric area – Fone Zone, a section of songs and dances performed by children, as well as folk shows at the Main Stage in Cismigiu Park.
The International Folklore Festival “Music and Traditions in Cismigiu” is organized by the City Hall of Bucharest through the Creative Arts and Tradition Center of Bucharest and is part of the CIOFF – International Council of Folklore and Traditional Culture Festivals.
Romanian TV, the co-producer of the event, broadcasts TVR 1 every year, the most beautiful moments of music and dance presented at the festival.
