City Hall by Creart – Creation Center, Art and Tradition of Bucharest, in collaboration with the School of Fine Arts “Nicolae Tonitza” in Bucharest, organized the painting exhibition “Easter through the eyes of children”, during 10 to 23 April 2017, Creart Square Gallery Alexandru Lahovari no. 7.
Seventh graders painting under the guidance of Professor Horia Cristina, will present 30 original works for 14 days, on the eve of Easter holidays. Work will illustrate how they relate to the oldest and most important Christian holiday.
Byzantine iconography and art inspired by Constantinople, little artists used techniques to achieve diversified tempera, watercolor and acrylic to express emotions and feelings in different ways and to highlight the importance of Easter. Most works it illustrates Jesus, however, does not lack eggs red light Resurrection, Easter holidays and customs of the Feast of the Annunciation.
The opening will take place on 10 April at 17:30 in Gallery Creart in the presence of Prof. Horia Cristina, teachers School of Fine Arts “Nicolae Tonitza”, parents and guests present to support them students. The exhibition can be visited daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and entry is free.
Organizers proposed by hosting the exhibition “Easter through the eyes of children” to provide a platform for exposure and to encourage students to interact with both industry professionals and the public to admire the painting as a form of artistic expression.
